Henry: Do you have any good suggestions on how to keep fit? I feel like I've been putting on weight these days.
亨利:你對保持健康有什么好建議嗎?我感覺好像這些日子我又長胖了。
Mary: How much do you weigh now?
瑪麗:你現在多重?
Henry: About 150 pounds. Can you believe it?
亨利:大約150磅吧。你能相信嗎?
Mary: But that weight looks good on you. I certainly don't think you need to go on a diet.
瑪麗:不過這個體重對你來說正好,我覺得你不用節食減肥。
Henry: I'm starting to develop a thick waist. Can you see it? I want
to fix it quick.
亨利:我的腰越來越粗了。你看得出來嗎?我想盡快把腰減下來。
Mary: Maybe jogging can keep your weight down.
瑪麗:或許慢跑可以讓你減下來。
Henry: Yeah, but it takes time o Aren't there any shortcuts?
亨利:是啊,但是那太費時間了。沒有捷徑嗎?
Mary: You could try diet pills. They'll help take off the weight, but they have a few side effects and can do more harm than good.
瑪麗:你可以試試減肥藥。那可以幫助減肥,但是有副作用,弊大于利。
Henry: Anything else l could try?
亨利:還有別的辦法嗎?
Mary: The best thing is to control your diet and start to exercise.
瑪麗:最好的辦法就是控制你的飲食,而且開始做運動。
Henry: I know, but I'd like to find a quick fix to this problem, and those things take time.
亨利:我知道,但我想找個簡單快捷的方法來處理這個問題,那些都太費時間了。
Mary: I hear you, but you have to choose.
瑪麗:我明白,但是你必須做出選擇。
