On Kinship關(guān)于親情
Jack: How are you doing, Lily?
Lily: I'm homesick. It's been a long time since I was home to see my family. I really miss my parents.
Jack: I'm kind of homesick too. I know my parents love me, and I know that supreme happiness comes from the belief that we are loved unconditionally.
Lily: No matter how rich I get, I will always consider my parents' home as the grandest palace in my life. There is a saying: East or west, home is best.
Jack: I agree. Sometimes my parents aren't satisfied with what I've done, or even sometimes they criticize me, but I know they are only looking out for my best interests.
Lily: I know what you mean. Now, I live very far from home, and I can't hel but miss my parents, so I make a call home every weekend.
Jack: I'm not so good at that. I get kind of embarrassed talking about things like that with them.
Lily: You could write letters. Or if you have time, you can go home.
Jack: Yes, you're right.
