Giving Advice
Ann: Are you feeling better today, Bill?
Bill: Well. sort of. But I'm still coughing a lot at night.
Ann: You really ought to follow your doctor's advice and quit smoking. It's so bad for your health.
Bill: Yeah, I know. But it's really hard to give up a habit You've had for such a long time.
Ann: Not that hard. You just need to make up Your mind. A little determination is all you need.
Bill: You know, I work late into the night. Smoking helps me stay awake.
Ann: Why don't you just go to bed and get up earlier? You won't lose any work time.
Bill: You're right. I need to change my habits. That's good advice. Thanks. I'll give it a try.
Ann: I hope you're feeling better soon.
