第四十五課 簡化修飾名詞的從句
一.本課要點及示例
在這一課里, 我們學習怎么樣簡化用來修飾名詞的從句, 比方 "唱歌的人" the man who is singing 可以簡化為 the man singing; "他唱的歌" the song which was sung by him 可以簡化為 the song sung by him. 另外我們還要學習一些跟 音樂有關系的詞匯.

二.簡化用來修飾名詞的從句
聽到這兒,我想你對怎么簡化從句已經有點兒概念. 現在我請英文老師再念一 些句子進一步作比較.首先男老師念兩個句子,比方:The man asks Linda to turn down the record player. He is Henry. 女老師就把兩個句子合并成一句:The man who asks Linda to turn down the record player is Henry. 然后女老師再用動詞 加上 i-n-g 把從句加以簡化,所以整個句子就變成: The man asking Linda to turn down the record player is Henry. 老師念句子的時候請你注意聽.
M: The girl is listening to the record. She is Linda.
F: The girl who is listening to the record is Linda.
F: The girl listening to the record is Linda.
