伴著《春天的花蕊》與《臺北新故鄉(xiāng)》2首歌傳唱臺北城的街頭巷尾，當年的國會議員阿扁仔躍身首善之都，奠定當今更貴為總統(tǒng)之基石，路寒袖君的作詞功力已然嶄露頭角;這首曲子原是其應(yīng)某大食品公司之邀，所完成的廣告歌曲，當詩作發(fā)表于【自立晚報】副刊時，經(jīng)林福裕老師的學(xué)生傳真到美國，95年春林老師攜著甫完成的譜，邀請寒袖夫婦蒞臨臺北工作室，親自彈奏并由女高音葉君儀首度試唱;當琴韻悠然而止之際，在場的數(shù)人目睹掛在林老師臉頰上的倆行清淚，良久…良久。
