The APEC High-Level Roundtable was held in Tianjin, China on 8 May 2014. Under the APEC 2014 priorities of “Advancing Regional Economic Integration” and “Promoting Innovative Development, Economic Reform and Growth”, we articulated our common vision of promoting green development and transition in the Asia-Pacific region in the context of our regional economic integration efforts.
APEC綠色發(fā)展高層圓桌會(huì)于2014年5月8日在天津舉行。在2014年APEC的兩大重點(diǎn)議題“推動(dòng)區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化”和“促進(jìn)經(jīng)濟(jì)創(chuàng)新發(fā)展、改革與增長(zhǎng)”下，我們明確表達(dá)了在區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化背景下促進(jìn)亞太地區(qū)綠色發(fā)展與轉(zhuǎn)型的共同愿景。
In recent years, APEC has sought to tackle both economic and environmental challenges in pursuit of a green and sustainable economy, including through its leadership in liberalizing trade in environmental goods and services (EGS).
近年來(lái)，APEC一直致力于解決經(jīng)濟(jì)與環(huán)境挑戰(zhàn)，以尋求發(fā)展綠色與可持續(xù)經(jīng)濟(jì)，其中包括通過(guò)發(fā)揮其領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力、以期實(shí)現(xiàn)環(huán)境產(chǎn)品與服務(wù)（EGS）貿(mào)易自由化。
Recognizing the opportunities and challenges faced by the Asia-Pacific region, we agree that further efforts and cooperation in APEC are necessary to advance work to enhance capabilities of economies to support green and sustainable growth in all of our economies.
認(rèn)識(shí)到亞太地區(qū)面臨的機(jī)遇與挑戰(zhàn)，我們同意APEC有必要進(jìn)一步開(kāi)展合作，加強(qiáng)各經(jīng)濟(jì)能力建設(shè)，以支持所有經(jīng)濟(jì)體實(shí)現(xiàn)綠色與可持續(xù)增長(zhǎng)。
To this end, we emphasize the importance of sharing best practices and continuing our efforts to facilitate and liberalize trade in EGS and promote green and sustainable growth.
為此，我們強(qiáng)調(diào)要分享最佳實(shí)踐，繼續(xù)環(huán)境產(chǎn)品與服務(wù)貿(mào)易便利化與自由化相關(guān)努力，促進(jìn)綠色與可持續(xù)增長(zhǎng)。
We will assess how existing APEC work streams, such as the Committee on Trade and Investment's work on Supply Chain Connectivity and EGS will support the private sector in its efforts to develop greener supply chains and how to link APEC economies to cooperate on green supply chains, so as to push forward green growth and sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region. We will work closely with the private sector to ensure that any future work by APEC in this area adds value to these efforts.
我們將評(píng)估APEC現(xiàn)有工作流程，如貿(mào)易與投資委員會(huì)在供應(yīng)鏈互聯(lián)互通與環(huán)境產(chǎn)品與服務(wù)方面開(kāi)展的工作，如何支持私營(yíng)部門(mén)的努力、以創(chuàng)建更加綠色供應(yīng)鏈，以及如何聯(lián)接APEC經(jīng)濟(jì)體開(kāi)展綠色供應(yīng)鏈合作，以推動(dòng)亞太地區(qū)綠色增長(zhǎng)與可持續(xù)發(fā)展。我們將與私營(yíng)部門(mén)密切合作，確保APEC未來(lái)在這一領(lǐng)域開(kāi)展工作均為已做出努力增加價(jià)值。
We welcome the work being done by individual APEC economies with respect to green growth, including promoting green financing investment and trade, sustainable production and consumption, capacity building and joint research, green technologies, sustainable government procurement and certification and mutual recognition of environment labeling schemes, and corporate social responsibility, etc, and emphasize that such work should be carried out in a WTO consistent manner. We welcome Tianjin's contribution in setting up a green supply chain pilot center open to interested economies.
我們對(duì)APEC經(jīng)濟(jì)體目前在綠色增長(zhǎng)方面開(kāi)展的工作表示歡迎，其中包括促進(jìn)綠色金融投資與貿(mào)易、可持續(xù)生產(chǎn)與消費(fèi)、能力建設(shè)與聯(lián)合研究、綠色技術(shù)、可持續(xù)政府采購(gòu)、環(huán)境標(biāo)志產(chǎn)品的認(rèn)證與互認(rèn)、企業(yè)社會(huì)責(zé)任等，并強(qiáng)調(diào)開(kāi)展這些工作應(yīng)符合世界貿(mào)易組織規(guī)則。我們歡迎天津市所做出貢獻(xiàn)：在天津建立綠色供應(yīng)鏈試點(diǎn)中心、并向感興趣的經(jīng)濟(jì)體開(kāi)放。
Our work toward a seamless regional economy underpinned by green and sustainable growth is only in the beginning stages. We believe that this roundtable can contribute to our common goal towards green and sustainable growth. We recommend that our Leaders send a strong message of support for future APEC work to support green growth and sustainable development across the region.
以綠色可持續(xù)增長(zhǎng)為基礎(chǔ)、一體化的區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)相關(guān)工作還處于起步階段。我們相信，本次圓桌會(huì)有助于實(shí)現(xiàn)我們綠色與可持續(xù)增長(zhǎng)的共同目標(biāo)。我們建議APEC領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人發(fā)出強(qiáng)烈的信號(hào)，支持APEC未來(lái)推動(dòng)該區(qū)域綠色增長(zhǎng)與可持續(xù)發(fā)展的相關(guān)工作。
