半壁東南三楚雄，劉郎死去霸圖空。

尚余遺業艱難甚，誰與斯人慷慨同？

塞上秋風悲戰馬，神州落日泣哀鴻。

幾時痛飲黃龍酒，橫攬江流一奠公！

The mightier half of the South-East, massive Yangtze shores!

At Daoyi’s decease, aborteth abrupt our noble cause.

What onerous enormous tasks with us thou leavest behind?

And where again will we hear that stirring calling of thine?

On frontiers, battle stallions neighing in autumn breeze,

O'er famished inland, wild geese cry at sunset bleak.

A victory party being given at Tartars'den one day,

Let all of the river’s waters be poured a libation to thee!
