夕陽和遠山

交疊成一彎新月

在榆樹林中穿行

鳥巢空空

小路繞過水塘

追著一只毛色骯臟的狗

撞在村頭的土墻上

吊桶在井里輕輕搖蕩

鐘和場院上的石碾

一樣沉靜

零落的麥秸騷動著

馬廄里的咀嚼聲

apath encircles the pond

chasinga dog with a dirty coat

upto the mud wall at the village entrance

thebucket in the well sways gently

theclock is as still

asthe roller in the yard

driedwheat stalks stir uneasily

thesound of chewing from the stable

isfull of threat

aman’s long shadow

slipsdown the doorstep

firelightfrom a kitchen range

castsa ruddy glow on a woman’s arms

anda chipped earthenware bowl
