Here I'd like to talk about a letter I received when I was in high school . It was a letter from a magazine office, telling me that my article would be published in the magazine. It was a letter that made me the most excited in my life.
I have been fond of literature since middle school and I tried to contribute my compositions to journals. But after several attempts that proved failure,I was disappointed and nearly gave up. I was fortunate to have a kind teacher then, who always offered me encouragement and helpful suggestions on my writing. One day she came to me with a letter in hand. Another letter returning my contribution,I think. I told the teacher I didn't want to look at the letter. She opened the letter up herself, and cried merrily,"Oh,my dear! They are going to publish your article. Here is the notice!" I couldn ' t believe my ears and grabbed the letter to read it carefully. Yes, it was really a congratulation letter.
I think it is the most special letter I ' ve received because it encouraged my confidence. I also learn that as long as you keep on trying you are bound to succeed.
