1. What do you think are the shortcomings of primary education in China?
1. 你認(rèn)為中國小學(xué)教育的弊端在哪里？
I think the biggest problem is that our education is exam oriented. We take exams too seriously. All the subjects and contents taught are related to the exams. The study becomes pressure not pleasure to students. And sometimes we have too big classes in primary schools. The students can't get individual attention.
我認(rèn)為最大的問題是我們的教育是應(yīng)試教育。我們過于看重考試。所有教授的科目和內(nèi)容都和考試有關(guān)。學(xué)習(xí)對于學(xué)生來說不是件愉快的事反而成了負(fù)擔(dān)。而且有時小學(xué)里班級過大，學(xué)生都不能集中注意力。
2. Which one do you prefer： the school with single-sexed students or the one with both?
2. 單一制性別的學(xué)校或混合制性別的學(xué)校，你更喜歡哪一種？
I have never been to a single-sexed school. I prefer a school with both girls and boys. I think when one is growing up,it is important to learn to deal with the opposite sex. If you are in a single-sexed school, you will lose this opportunity. And I think one is prone to some psychological problems if living in an environment where there is only the same sex.
我從未進入到單一制性別的學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)過。我更喜歡混合制學(xué)校。我想在一個人的成長過程中，學(xué)習(xí)怎樣跟異性相處非常重要。如果在一個單一性別的學(xué)校，就失去了這樣的機會。而且我認(rèn)為在只有同一性別的環(huán)境中生活更容易患上心理疾病。
3. Do you think it's good for children to learn musical instruments?
3. 你覺得讓孩子學(xué)習(xí)樂器是否有益？
It depends. It is good to learn some musical instruments if the children have an interest and a gift. It helps to develop the intelligence and cultivate the art feeling. But Parents shouldn't force their children to learn.
那取決于孩子自身。如果孩子有很大興趣和天分，學(xué)習(xí)樂器對他們來說是有好處的。它能夠促進智力發(fā)育、培養(yǎng) 對藝術(shù)的感覺。但是父母不應(yīng)強迫孩子去學(xué)。
