When Karen was selected to be a respondent in a retailing survey,

She was sure that she had gone to heaven.

Being retained for your opinion on clothes

Was better than any job she had ever had.

When a letter came saying

That the company was resoundingly satisfied with her very responsive input,

Karen became restless;

She wanted to retort that she could give them so much more advice.

Then they called and asked for her resume.

Karen resorted to every trick to make that resume look beautiful.

The company wanted to restore a youthful look to their line

And was therefore restricting their choice of clothes

The next weekend she went on a retreat with five other girls
