上網對于大學生而言，大多成為休閑娛樂的一種方式，此題用“How”提問，旨在引導學生成為一名有效的網絡資源利用者，成為一名learner。盡管題目不長，但是還是表現出出題者頗具匠心的設計，因此不妨認真地進行思考，多找出一些值得借鑒的建議。
Candidate 1: Recently, with the development of distance learning technology, the topic "how to be a good online learner" has been brought into focus. Personally, I think following tips can help you to be a good learner.
Firstly, you'd better manage your time properly. Since you can arrange you time freely, you should find the golden time in a day for your study. In order to make your work more efficient, it is rather a good way. Meanwhile, if you can not resist the temptation in the outer world, then you can only benefit little from the online education.
Secondly, you should learn to balance your personal obligations. There can never be only one thing that you need to deal with in your daily life. Since you are a person with many characters in the society, there is no doubt that you must undertake many obligations.
Thirdly, a good study envrionment is also essential. As an online learner, admittedly, you do not have a particular place to study or a particular discussion group. Well, it doesn't mean that you are isolated(孤立的). You should make yourself an active "classmate" in the online chat rooms.
Fourthly, asking questions can always be a good habit of learning. Nowadays, most online education websites provide us many ways to talk to the online teachers directly. You can have an immediate response from the teachers just as you put up your hand in a traditional classroom.
Finally, get what you give. You have already paid for the equipment and facilities. And for online learning, you at least must own a computer. Apparently, you have given so much, then you must get what you want to achieve when you at first decide to begin the courses. Never give up. You can do it if you try your best.
Candidate 2: Whether you want to be a good online learner or not, you really should know something about how to do it, because internet and online learning are inevitable nowadays. I would like to give you some tips:
First, control yourself well. If nobody disciplines you or guides you, you may feel at ease. However, this will lead you to be the "last minute person". You should be self-disciplined. Do not turn on sets or MP3 until you finish your online task in the given time.
Second, manage your time well. It's up to you to decide when to start and when to stop. So it needs a larger time investment overall. As the old saying goes, " Time waits for nobody, if it is wasted, you can never get it back."
Third, participate in activities. If you get some cooperation homework, take an active part in it. Exchange thoughts, opinions and information with others at the audio or video instruction.
Last, make proper target. Try to make some small but proper targets, like reviewing and previewing lessons. They can motivate(激發) you to keep studying hard. I've just shown some universal(普遍的) principles of learning online. If you apply them into practice, they can contribute to your own study as well.

9. What's your opinion on long-distance education?
long-distance是online learner的一種具體方式，該問題是對在線學習的進一步推進。由于遠程教育是一種新型的現代教學方式，社會上對其觀點不一，眾說紛紜，希望通過答案能夠看到你的真知灼見。
Candidate 1: Education plays a vital role in everyone's life. With the changing of ways of education, distance education becomes more and more popular. While, just as every coin has two sides, we can't judge it one-sidedly.
Firstly, we can not deny that it does good to people to some degree. It provides people with more opportunities. You can learn whatever you want whenever and wherever. Information is available 24 hours a day.
Secondly, regular courses depend heavily on books and other traditional paper based materials while distance education posts lectures and assignments electronically, which is very envrionment-friendly.
Thirdly, that's really good for the adult and the disabled. For adults, who are runing around in circles to balance work with a growing family. For the disabled, it will protect them from suffering in the regular school.But there are still some disadvantages. To begin with, people learning through distance education may not control themselves very well. They may be other things like eating, watching or even sleeping while they are online. What's worse, though it's easy to sit back in online course, your learning will suffer if you don't participate. You'll lose interest little by little. Last but not least, children learning through it may lose ready-made friends who court a great deal in children's childhood. Without anyone to talk to or to play with, children may not grow up well physically and mentally.
In a word, we should take it seriously when we choose our way of education. Always remember that suitable for you is the best.
