3.北京首都國際機(jī)場3號航站樓

　　Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3 was designed by the famous British architect Norman Foster. Its construction started on March 28, 2004 and took four years to complete. It is a major landmark in Beijing representing the growing and developing Chinese city。

　　Covering a total area of 986,000 square meters, the terminal is the world's largest building and most advanced airport. Its roof adopted a large-span hyperboloid steel grid structure, in the shape of a plane. It measures 958 meters from north to south, and 775 meters from west to east。

　　The terminal offers an unparalleled travelling experience, not only technologically, but also in terms of operational efficiency, passenger comfort, sustainability and access to natural light. It features a main passenger terminal (Terminal 3C)， two satellite concourses (Terminal 3D and Terminal 3E) and five floors above ground and two underground。

　　Built in 1958, Beijing Capital International Airport, known as the "China Gateway," is the largest and busiest international aviation hub with the most advanced facilities in China. It is the first airport in the Asia-Pacific region that has three terminals, three runways, and two towers operating simultaneously。

　　北京首都國際機(jī)場3號(T3)航站樓主樓由荷蘭機(jī)場顧問公司(NACO)、英國諾曼·福斯特建筑事務(wù)所負(fù)責(zé)方案設(shè)計，北京市建筑設(shè)計研究院負(fù)責(zé)設(shè)計管理和施工圖設(shè)計，民航機(jī)場(成都)電子工程設(shè)計所負(fù)責(zé)弱電/信息系統(tǒng)專項設(shè)計。

　　3號航站樓是世界最大的單體航站樓，由主樓和國內(nèi)候機(jī)廊、國際候機(jī)廊組成，配備了自動處理和高速傳輸?shù)男欣钕到y(tǒng)、快捷的旅客捷運(yùn)系統(tǒng)以及信息系統(tǒng)，總建筑面積98.6萬平方米，相當(dāng)于170個足球場那么大。
