Host:Maria, do tell us a little about the Venice Film Festival.

Maria:Well, I think it is rather appropriate for me to begin our discussion.

Maria:The Venice Film Festival is the oldest film festival in the world.

Maria:It is an annual festival that began in 1932.

Maria:Our festival is part of a larger festival which applauds contemporary art.

Maria:We view film as a particular type of contemporary art.

Host:Kathy, please tell us about the Sundance Film Festival.

Kathy:Unlike the Venice Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival only includes small, independent films. That is, the main criterion for being included is that the film mustnot be financed by Hollywood studios.
凱西：與威尼斯電影節(jié)不同，圣丹斯電影節(jié)中的電影只是小的、獨(dú)立制片電影。也就是說，參加電影節(jié)的主要標(biāo)準(zhǔn)是那些沒有好萊塢公司資助的電影。
