A jobless man applied for the position of "office boy" at Microsoft.
有一個失業(yè)的男人申請微軟公司的辦公室文員職位。
The manager interviewed him and asked him to clean the floor as a test. The man did it excellently.
經(jīng)理對他進行了面試，讓他以打掃地板作為測試，他做得很好。
"Give me your e-mail address," said the manager. "I'll send you the application to fill in ."

The man replied that he didn't have a computer, nor an e-mail account.

"I'm sorry," said the manager. "If you don't have an e-mail account, that means you do not exist. So you can't have the job."

The man left disappointed. He didn't know what to do as he only had $10 in his pocket.

Then he decided to buy 10 kilos of tomatoes and sell them from door to door.

In less than two hours, he made 20 dollars. He repeated the operation several times.

Soon he earned enough to buy a cart, then a truck, and later his own fleet of delivery vehicles.

One day, a friend asked him for his e-mail address.

He said, "I haven't got one." His friend couldn't believe his ears.

"You don't have an e-mail account, and yet have succeeded in building an empire! Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an e-mail account?"

The man thought for a while and replied, "Yes, I'd be an office boy at Microsoft."
