Everyone is born with the ability to learn. But whether or not you can do this well depends on your learning habits.
每個人與生俱來就有學習的能力。但是你能否做好取決于你的學習習慣。
Research shows that successful learners have some good habits in common.
研究表明，成功的學習者都有一些共同的好習慣。
Creating an interest in what they learn
培養學習興趣
Studies show that if you are interested in something, your brain is more active and it is also easier for you to pay attention to it for a long time.
研究表明，如果你對一件事情感興趣，你的大腦就會更活躍，并且也容易保持較長時間的關注。
Good learners often connect what they need to learn with something interesting.
優秀的學習者通常會將要學習的東西和感興趣的事情聯系起來。
For example, if they need to learn English and they like music or sports, they can listen to English songs or watch sports programs in English. This way they will not get bored.
例如，如果他們要學習英語，而且他們喜歡音樂或運動，他們就可以聽英文歌曲或是觀看英語的體育節目。通過這種方式，學習起來就不會覺得枯燥無聊。
Practicing and learning from mistakes

Good learners think about what they are good at and what they need to practice more.
優秀學習者會思考他們擅長的是什么以及需要更多練習的是什么。
Remember, "use it or lose it" ! Even if you learn something well, you will forget it unless you use it.
切記：“用進廢退！”即便有些東西你學得很好，除非你運用它，否則就會忘記。
"Practice makes perfect." Good learners will keep practicing what they have learn, and they are not afraid of making mistakes.
“熟能生巧。”優秀學習者會不停地練習所學到的東西，他們也不害怕犯錯誤。
Alexander Graham bell did not invent the telephone overnight. He succeeded by trying many times and learning from his mistakes.
亞歷山大·格雷厄姆·貝爾也不是一夜之間就發明了電話。他的成功是通過很多次的嘗試，以及從屢次錯誤中學到了經驗。

It is not enough to just study hard. Good learners know the best way they can study.

For example, they may take notes by writing down key words or by drawing mind maps. They also look for ways to review what they have learned.

They may do this by reading their notes every day or by explaining the information to another student.

Good learners often ask questions during or after class. They even ask each other and try to find out the answers. Knowledge comes from questioning.
優秀的學習者經常在課間或是課后問問題。他們甚至會彼此提問，然后嘗試找到答案。知識源于質疑。
Learning is a lifelong journey because every day brings something new.
學習是一段畢生的旅程，因為每天都會有新的事情發生。
Everything that you learn becomes a part of you and changes you, so learn wisely and learn well.
