Full Moon, Full Feelings
月圓滿，心情亦圓滿
Chinese people have been celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival and enjoying mooncakes for centuries.
中國人慶祝中秋節、吃月餅的習俗已經有好幾個世紀了。
Mooncakes are in the shape of a full moon on the Mid-Autumn night. They carry people's wishes to the families they love and miss.
月餅的形狀就和中秋節夜的滿月一樣。它們寄托著人們對他們深愛和思念著的家人的美好祝愿。
There are many traditional folk stories about this festival. However, most people think that the story of Chang'e is the most touching.
關于中秋節有很多的傳統民間故事。然而，多數人認為嫦娥的故事是最動人的。
Chang'e was Hou Yi's beautiful wife. After Hou Yi shot down the nine suns, a goddess gave him magic medicine to thank him.
嫦娥是后羿美麗的妻子。在后羿射下天上的九個太陽之后，王母娘娘為了感謝他，給了他一顆仙丹。
Whoever drank this could live forever, and Hou Yi planned to drink it with Chang'e.
無論誰喝下仙丹都會長生不老，后羿準備和嫦娥一起喝。
However, a bad man, Pang Meng, tried to steal the medicine when Hou Yi was not home.
但是，有一個名叫龐萌的壞人，想趁后羿不在家的時候偷走仙丹。
Chang'e refused to give it to him and drank it all. She became very light and flew up to the moon.
嫦娥拒絕把藥給他，并全部吞了下去。她變得輕飄飄的，之后就飛到月亮上了。
Hou Yi was so sad that he called out her name to the moon every night.
后羿傷心得每天對著月亮呼喊著她的名字。
One night, he found that the moon was so bright and round that he could see his wife there.
一天晚上，他發現月亮又亮又圓，他能看到自己的妻子在那兒。
He quickly laid out her favorite fruits and desserts in the garden. How he wished that Chang'e could come back!
他很快地在花園里擺放出嫦娥最喜歡吃的水果和點心。他多希望嫦娥能夠回來啊！
After this, people started the tradition of admiring the moon and sharing mooncakes with their families.
從此以后，人們開始有了崇拜月亮以及與家人分享月餅的傳統。
