Young Girl Warns Others about Tsunami

Tilly Smith is from England. Two weeks before the 2004 Christmas holiday, Tilly's teacher talked about tsunamis in her geography class.

The tsunami reached Maikhao Beach in Thailand in the morning. What was Tilly doing at that time?

On that morning, ten-year-old Tilly and her family were walking on Maikhao Beach and enjoying the sun.

Because of Tilly's warning, the hotel workers quickly helped guests get to a safer place.
