Norman Bethune was born in Canada in 1890.

He was a famous doctor and a nice man.

In 1916, Norman Bethune graduated from the University of Toronto.

With a lot of hard work, he found new ways to help people with T.B.

- a disease that damages the lungs. He also invented tools that remain in use today.

Norman Bethune is well known for helping the Chinese people in the Anti-Japanese War.

In 1938, he made a decision to go to northern China because he knew many people were dying in the war.

Bethune organized hospitals, taught doctors and nurses,

Norman Bethune died in Hebei. To remember him,

the government set up Bethune Medical School and Bethune International Peace Hospital in Shijiazhuang.
政府在石家莊建立起白求恩醫(yī)學(xué)院和白求恩國(guó)際和平醫(yī)院。
