Last month, our dog welcomed me when I came home from school.

He wanted a walk, but I was too tired.

I threw down my bag and went to the living room.

The minute I sat down in front of the TV, my mom came over.

"Could you please take the dog for a walk?" she asked.

"Could I watch one show first?" I asked.

"No!" she replied angrily. "You watch TV all the time and never help out around the house!
"不可以!"她生氣地回答我。"你總是在看電視，從不幫助幫忙打理家務(wù)!
I can't work all day and do housework all evening."
我總不能工作了一整天，然后再做整個(gè)晚上的家務(wù)。
"Well, I work all day at school, too! I'm just as tired as you are!" I shouted back.
"哎，我也是一整天在學(xué)校工作!我和你是一樣的累!"我喊道。
My mom did not say anything and walked away.
我媽媽什么也沒(méi)說(shuō)就走了。
For one week, she did not do any housework and neither did I.
一個(gè)星期，她沒(méi)有做任何家務(wù)，我也沒(méi)有做。
Finally, I could not find a clean dish or a clean shirt.
最后我連干凈的盤(pán)子或干凈的襯衫都找不到。
The next day, my mom came home from work to find the house clean and tidy.
第二天我媽媽下班回家發(fā)現(xiàn)家里變得干凈整潔。
"What happened?" she asked in surprise.
"發(fā)生了什么?"她驚訝的問(wèn)。
"I'm so sorry, Mom.
"非常抱歉，媽媽。
I finally understand that we need to share the housework to have a clean and comfortable home," I replied.
我終于明白，我們要分擔(dān)家務(wù)來(lái)?yè)碛幸粋€(gè)干凈、舒適的家，"我回答說(shuō)。
