W: Hi, Kevin. Your roommate told me that I could find you in the rest room. What are you doing here?
女：嗨，凱文。你室友告訴我在休息室可以找到你。你在這兒做什么呢？
M: What does it look like I am doing?
男：我看起來像在做什么？
W: Well, it looks like you're watching TV. But we have a math examination tomorrow, so I thought you'd be studying for it and maybe I can study with you.
女：看上去你在看電視。但是明天就要數(shù)學考試了，我還以為你在為它做準備，所以想和你一塊學習。
M: Oh, well, I'm just taking a break. This math stuff gives me a headache if I work on it too long.
男：哦，我只是休息一下。長時間學數(shù)學會讓我頭疼。
W: I know what you mean. I've been working on it for three hours through already. I'm beginning to go over. I just don't get some of them.
女：我理解。我已經(jīng)學了整整三個小時了。我現(xiàn)在開始只是簡單地瀏覽了。有幾個問題我就是不明白。
M: But I can't believe you are coming to me. I mean you do know what I got on the last test, don't you?
男：但是，我真是不敢相信你會來找我。你知道我上次考試的成績，不是嗎？
W: Yeah, I know. You told me. I just thought two heads might be better than one.
女：是的，我知道，你告訴過我。我只是覺得兩個腦袋比一個腦袋強。
M: Yeah, that's a nice idea. But…you know, I wish I knew that person in our class who got a hundred on the last test. She didn't miss a question. Umm... is it Elizabeth?

W: Oh yeah, Elizabeth! She is a friend of mine. She'd be a big help right now. Why don't we give her a call?

M: What! At this hour? It's already ten thirty. I don't want to impose on her.

W: Yeah, I guess you are right. But we really need her help now. Let's at least give her a call and see what she says. Maybe going over some of the problems with us would help her review the material.
女：是啊，我想你是對的。但是我們現(xiàn)在真的需要她的幫助。至少給她打個電話看她怎么說吧。或許和我們一起復習一些問題對她也會有幫助。
M: It's worth a try.
