無(wú)奮斗、不青春：中國(guó)青年五四獎(jiǎng)?wù)芦@得者群像
Since 1997, the May 4th Medal has been given to exceptional individuals and groups. Its aim is to inspire contemporary youths in China “to embrace and preserve the May 4th Movement and encourage them to contribute to the development of the country”, CGTN noted.
自1997年以來(lái)，“中國(guó)青年五四獎(jiǎng)?wù)隆币恢鳖C發(fā)給杰出的個(gè)人和集體，以激勵(lì)中國(guó)當(dāng)代青年“樹(shù)立并傳承五四運(yùn)動(dòng)的精神，鼓勵(lì)他們?yōu)樽鎳?guó)發(fā)展做出貢獻(xiàn)”，中國(guó)國(guó)際電視臺(tái)報(bào)道指出。
This year, China awarded 34 individuals and 20 groups and organizations the May 4th Medal to celebrate their great contributions to the country. Let’s look at some of them.
今年，中國(guó)向34名個(gè)人及20個(gè)集體組織頒發(fā)“五四獎(jiǎng)?wù)隆保员碚盟麄儗?duì)國(guó)家做出的巨大貢獻(xiàn)。讓我們看看其中一部分獎(jiǎng)?wù)芦@得者。
Liu Xian
劉仙
Liu Xian is an ordinary entrepreneur who started a catering business in Chengdu. During the pandemic, the 25-year-old woman heard that medical staff on the frontline weren’t able to eat well due to the extended working hours.
劉仙是一名普通的創(chuàng)業(yè)者，她在成都開(kāi)了一家餐飲公司。疫情期間，25歲的她聽(tīng)說(shuō)前線醫(yī)護(hù)人員由于加班加點(diǎn)吃不好飯。
Despite the risk of getting infected, Liu headed to Wuhan and cooked for medical staff. Over 40 days, she cooked for medical workers in over 20 hospitals, up to 400 to 600 meals a day. Her meals were of high quality and were nutritious. Her efforts gave the medics the strength and nourishment they badly needed.
冒著被感染的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)，劉仙“逆行”武漢，為醫(yī)護(hù)人員做飯。40多天里，她為20多家醫(yī)院的醫(yī)護(hù)人員做飯，每天多達(dá)400到600份。她做的菜品質(zhì)量上乘，營(yíng)養(yǎng)豐富。她的付出為醫(yī)護(hù)人員送去了急需的力量和營(yíng)養(yǎng)。
As there was a lack of protective clothing, Liu always wore a raincoat when delivering food. People began to affectionately refer to her as “Raincoat Girl”.
由于沒(méi)有防護(hù)服，劉仙在送飯時(shí)總穿一件雨衣，大家開(kāi)始親切地稱她為“雨衣妹妹”。
Her selfless actions have warmed the hearts of thousands of frontline medical workers as well as residents in the city.
她無(wú)私的行動(dòng)溫暖了成千上萬(wàn)一線醫(yī)護(hù)人員和武漢市民的心。
Liu continues in her efforts to help others. “Where there is a need for help, ‘Raincoat Members’ will be there to solve the problems,” she told CGTN.
劉仙一直盡自己所能幫助他人。“哪里需要幫忙，‘雨衣成員’就到哪解決問(wèn)題，”她在接受中國(guó)國(guó)際電視臺(tái)采訪時(shí)表示。

During the battle, Chen Hongjun, Chen Xiangrong and Xiao Siyuan died while fighting. Wang Zhuoran died as he tried to save his comrades who were trapped in a freezing river when they rushed to take part in the conflict.

Like many of us, they had many ambitions in life and loved ones to return to. But they sacrificed their lives for the great cause of our nation’s security.

Jiang Yingcheng

Born in 1996, car painter Jiang Yingcheng is not a traditional “master craftsman”.
出生于1996年的汽車噴漆工蔣應(yīng)成不是傳統(tǒng)的“老師傅”。
His talent in professional techniques helped this young assembly-line worker win the car-painting championship at the 44th World Skills Competition in 2017. In 2018, he joined the club of “super technicians”, becoming the youngest person in Zhejiang province ever to do so.
擁有專業(yè)技能方面的天賦，這位年輕的流水線工人獲得了2017年第44屆世界技能大賽汽車噴漆項(xiàng)目冠軍。2018年，他加入“特級(jí)技師”俱樂(lè)部，成為浙江省有史以來(lái)最年輕的特級(jí)技師。
According to Jiang, 0.01 millimeter – one-sixth of the diameter of a hair – is the margin of error of the paint thickness tested in the car-painting competition. The required precision shows how adept the participants must be at their craft.
蔣應(yīng)成表示，0.01毫米，相當(dāng)于一根頭發(fā)絲直徑的六分之一，是汽車噴漆項(xiàng)目所要求的油漆上下厚度誤差，這樣的精準(zhǔn)度意味著選手在技能上必須十分嫻熟。
“There is no shortcut to success,” Jiang, who also teaches at Zhejiang Technician College, often tells his students. He asks students to adopt a “craftsman spirit”, and work constantly to refine their skills. That’s the drive that has gotten Jiang this far in his career. He has worked hard to excel in his trade ever since he moved away from his remote mountain village at the age of 15.
“成功沒(méi)有捷徑”，在浙江技師學(xué)院任教的蔣應(yīng)成告訴他的學(xué)生們。他讓學(xué)生發(fā)揚(yáng)“工匠精神”，不斷地完善自己的技能。這正是蔣應(yīng)成走到今天的動(dòng)力。自15歲走出偏遠(yuǎn)山村，他一直努力工作，力爭(zhēng)在行業(yè)中出類拔萃。
