中俄建交70周年，開啟兩國關系新篇章
To a burst of applause in the Malachite Room of the Kremlin, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, signed a joint statement on elevating bilateral ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era.
在克里姆林宮孔雀石廳一片熱烈的掌聲中，中國國家主席習近平與俄羅斯總統普京鄭重簽署將兩國關系提升為“新時代中俄全面戰略協作伙伴關系”的聯合聲明。
The document was signed on June 5 after a meeting between the two heads of state during Xi's visit to Russia. It came at the time when the two countries are celebrating the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.
在習近平訪俄期間，兩國元首于6月5日舉行會談并簽署了此項聯合聲明。今年也恰逢中國和俄羅斯建交七十周年。
The joint statement said that the goal of the new partnership is to enable both sides to give each other more support as they pursue their own development paths, preserve their respective core interests, and protect each country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
聯合聲明指出，新伙伴關系的目標在于相互給予更加堅定有力的戰略支持，支持對方走自身發展道路和維護本國核心利益，保障兩國各自安全、主權和領土完整。
In his speech at a gathering after the signing of the joint statement, Xi said the two countries are embracing yet another historic moment in bilateral relations. The past 70 years have fully proved that China and Russia are good neighbors and true partners, as they were before and will be in the future, Xi said.
簽署聯合聲明后，習近平在隨后舉行的中俄建交70周年紀念大會上致辭。習近平說，中俄共同迎來兩國關系又一個歷史性時刻。70年的歷史經驗充分表明，中俄是搬不走的好鄰居、拆不散的真伙伴。無論過去、現在還是將來，習近平表示。
With mutual support and assistance, the two countries have promoted their relations to an unprecedentedly high level, Putin said.

In 2018, two-way trade between China and Russia hit a record high of over $100 billion (691 billion yuan). Major cooperation projects have been steadily carried out in such areas as energy, transportation, agriculture, aviation and space.
