"regret"‘遺憾、抱歉’之意。"inform" ‘通知、告訴’之意，比"tell"正式嚴(yán)肅。此說(shuō)法通常用于告訴對(duì)方壞消息時(shí)，一開(kāi)始應(yīng)先表示己方之遺憾或抱歉，讓對(duì)方先有心理準(zhǔn)備，再進(jìn)一步解說(shuō)問(wèn)題所在，要求對(duì)方的諒解或認(rèn)同。
