'Going to kill me, Harry?' he whispered. Harry stopped right above him, his wand still pointing at Black's chest, looking down at him.
“要殺我嗎，哈利？”他小聲說。哈利正站在他面前，魔杖仍舊指著他的胸膛，朝下看著他。
A livid bruise was rising around Black's left eye and his nose was bleeding.
一道青黑色傷痕正在布萊克左眼周圍出現，他的鼻子在流血。
'You killed my parents,' said Harry, his voice shaking slightly, but his wand hand quite steady.
“你殺了我的父母。”哈利說，聲音稍稍有些顫抖，但他拿魔杖的手是穩定的。
Black stared up at him out of those sunken eyes. 'I don't deny it,' he said, very quietly.
布萊克用他那雙深陷的眼睛瞪視著哈利。“我不否認這一點，”他很平靜地說。
'But if you knew the whole story … ' 'The whole story?' Harry repeated, a furious pounding in his ears. 'You sold them to Voldemort, that's all I need to know!'
“但是如果你知道全部內情……”“全部內情？”哈利重復道，耳朵里有一種激烈的撞擊聲。“你把他們出賣給伏地魔，這就是我必須知道的全部內情！”
'You've got to listen to me,' Black said, and there was a note of urgency in his voice now. 'You'll regret it if you don't … you don't understand … '
“你一定要聽我說，”布萊克說道，現在他的聲音里有了一種迫切的調子。“要是你不了解，你會后悔的……”
'I understand a lot better than you think,' said Harry, and his voice shook more than ever. 'You never heard her, did you? My mum … trying to stop Voldemort killing me … and you did that … you did it …'
“我了解的比你想象的多多了，”哈利說，聲音顫抖更厲害。“你從來沒聽到過她的叫喊，是不是？我的媽媽……努力不讓伏地魔殺我……而你做了那件事……你做了……”
Before either of them could say another word, something ginger streaked past Harry; Crookshanks leapt onto Black's chest, and settled himself there, right over Black's heart. Black blinked and looked down at the cat.
他們倆沒來得及再說別的，一個姜黃色的東西從哈利面前飛跑過去；克魯克山跳到布萊克的胸膛上，蹲在那里不走，正待在他的心臟部位。布萊克眨了眨眼睛，向下看著那只貓。
