'We've got to go,' said Harry at once. 'He can't just sit there on his own, waiting for the executioner!'
“我們一定要去，”哈利馬上說，“不能讓他自己坐在那兒等著行刑手！”
'Sunset, though,' said Ron, who was staring out of the window in a glazed sort of way. 'We'd never be allowed ... specially you, Harry ...'
“但是，太陽落山，”羅恩說，他眼睛瞪著窗外，“怎么也不會同意我們出去的……特別是你，哈利……”
Harry sank his head into his hands, thinking. 'If we only had the Invisibility Cloak ...'
哈利雙手捧著腦袋思索著。“要是我們有那件隱形衣……”
'Where is it?' said Hermione.
“隱形衣在哪里？”赫敏問。
Harry told her about leaving it in the passageway under the one-eyed witch.
哈利告訴她上次把隱形衣留在獨眼女巫雕像下面的通道里了。
'... if Snape sees me anywhere near there again, I'm in serious trouble,' he finished.
“……要是斯內(nèi)普再在那附近看見我，我的麻煩可就大了。”他最后這樣說。
'That's true,' said Hermione, getting to her feet. 'If he sees you ... how do you open the witch's hump again?'
“說得對。”赫敏表示同意，一面站起來，“如果他看見你……你怎么能打開女巫的駝背？”
'You — you tap it and say, "Dissendium",' said Harry. 'But —'
“你……輕輕敲它一下說：‘左右分離’，”哈利說，“但是……”
Hermione didn't wait for the rest of his sentence; she strode across the room, pushed the Fat Lady's portrait open and vanished from sight.
赫敏不等他說完，她大步走過房間，推開胖夫人的肖像，就此消失了。
'She hasn't gone to get it?' Ron said, staring after her.
“她不會是去取隱形衣吧？”羅恩說，瞪著她離去的方向。
She had. Hermione returned a quarter of an hour later with the silvery Cloak folded carefully under her robes.
赫敏是去了。十五分鐘以后，她回來了，隱形衣小心地折好藏在她的袍子下面。
'Hermione, I don't know what's got into you lately!' said Ron, astounded.
“赫敏，我不知道你最近是怎么了！”羅恩驚訝地說道，
'First you hit Malfoy, then you walk out on Professor Trelawney —' Hermione looked rather flattered.
“你先是打了馬爾福，然后你在特里勞妮教授的課堂上走出去……”赫敏看上去很愛聽他這樣說。
They went down to dinner with everybody else, but did not return to Gryffindor Tower afterwards.
他們和其他人一起下去吃晚飯，但晚飯后沒有回到格蘭芬多塔樓。
Harry had the Cloak hidden down the front of his robes; he had to keep his arms folded to hide the lump.
哈利把隱形衣藏在袍子的前襟下面，他必須一直交叉雙臂，以便隱藏袍子下面隆起的那一塊。
They skulked in an empty chamber off the Entrance Hall, listening, until they were sure it was deserted.
他們偷偷摸摸地走到前廳附近一間空房間里，諦聽了一會兒，直到他們附近的確沒有人為止。
They heard a last pair of people hurrying across the Hall, and a door slamming. Hermione poked her head around the door.
他們聽見最后兩個人急急忙忙穿過禮堂離開了，還聽到一扇門關(guān)上了，赫敏把腦袋伸到門外去看。
