Opportunity 這個詞啊，是即有單數意，也有復數意，這里Adam使用了單數，是因為只強調“機會”這個抽象概念而不強調數量。

'The opportunity is immense.'注意搭配的學習，“機會很多”。

When i started teaching, I just started with the basic.

The basic 泛指最基礎的知識或技能等

這倆我反正經常傻傻分不清。

It depends on how I feel after that. 當事情一時半會沒法給出確切答案時，我們可以用這種表達，It depends on...或者It's up to how I feel after that. 或者It hinges on how I feel after that.

I have both options open. 我有兩種選擇。Open這個詞雖然簡單，加和不加地道程度可是差不少。
Option選擇，可以用來替代opportunity或者alternative，但alternative更確切表示二選一。
Alternatives/opportunities are open for you. 同理都是正確的搭配。

Immense貌似是一個很難用好的詞，難就難在搭配。
這里Adam 給大家提供了一個使用范例
The choices are immense. 選擇很多?；蛘哒f，
Opportunities are immense.
There are immense number of opportunities.
都可以。

對于英語如此流利的人，我一直好奇他們對英語的看法，Adam今天倒是剛好滿足了我的好奇心，他認為：
English has become such that the extreme formal way of speaking is not used any more. 如今，那些及其正式的英語已經沒人用了。
看了這句話的翻譯，你會發現such并沒有翻譯出來對不對？這就對了。這是個很高級的用法，such指代的是that從句里的那一長串內容。你也不妨試一試。比如：
The Internet has become such that everybody thinks they can't live without it.
所以，聽了Adam這么說，英語焦慮癥有沒得到些些緩解？每個人可以對英語做一些改變，free style一下下，但Adam也警告，語法還是得對，不然明擺著不想好好溝通。

It was a bit complicated, and the procedures took some time but thankfully I got in. 過程復雜，流程費時，但還好被錄取了。
錄取原來就可以get in啊，有沒豁然開朗？英語學習把小詞用好才算地道，不會admit又有什么關系？雖然你也可以說get admitted。
