Voice 2: The human touch is a powerful sense. Someone puts their arm around you when you are sad. No one speaks. But somehow you feel better. When you are young, you hold your mother's hand when you are afraid.
聲音2：人類的碰觸具有強大的意義。當你難過時，會有人伸出手抱住你。沒有人說話。但是不知為什么，你就是會感覺好受些。你小時候，在害怕時會握住你媽媽的手。
Voice 1: The sense of touch is different to the other four senses - seeing, hearing, smelling and tasting. These senses are in particular parts of the body. But the sense of touch is all over the body. It is in the skin. It originates in the deepest part of skin - the dermis. The dermis is filled with very small nerve endings. These react to touch. They carry information to the spinal cord that goes through the backbone. The spinal cord sends messages to the brain.
聲音1：觸覺與視覺、聽覺、嗅覺和味覺這四種感覺官能不同。這些感覺官能都是身體特定部位的感知。但是觸覺是全身的感知。觸覺是皮膚的感覺。觸覺是源于皮膚最深層真皮層的感覺。真皮層布滿了極小的神經(jīng)末梢。這些神經(jīng)末梢對觸碰做出反應。它們將信息傳遞給穿過脊柱的脊髓。脊髓再將這些信息傳遞給大腦。
