On his way, he saw his daughter.
他在路上看到了他女兒。
"Father what is wrong?" She asked.
他女兒問他，“爸爸，出什么事了？”
"Oh, my dear. I am so pleased to see you." The King said, as he put his arms around the young girl. Her body hardened. He still held her. He knew what had happened. What a fool! Not his daughter! Tears fell down the King's face. And he fell to his knees. He cried at the feet of the golden statue - his daughter.
“哦，親愛的，看到你真是太高興了。”國王一邊說，一邊用手臂去抱他的女兒。他女兒的身體變硬了。他仍然抱著他女兒。他知道發(fā)生了什么事。真是個傻瓜！不要連她的女兒都變成金子！眼淚從國王的臉上流下。他跪倒在地。他趴在那座黃金雕像旁邊哭泣——那座雕像是他的女兒。
"Dionysus! Dionysus! Dionysus! Please remove my powers! Please! I ... my daughter ... I cannot touch anything! These powers will kill me and everyone around me. Please, help."
“狄俄尼索斯！狄俄尼索斯！狄俄尼索斯！請收回我的能力！請你收回去！我……我女兒……我什么都不能碰了！這些能力會殺了我和我身邊的所有人。請你幫幫我。”
Dionysus told Midas to go and wash in the river. When he washed there, his power would leave his body. It would flow into the river instead. So the King obeyed. And his power left him from that time on. King Midas decided that he hated wealth and riches. He moved to the country to live a simple life. His desire for wealth had cost him greatly.
狄俄尼索斯讓邁達斯去河水里清洗。河水會洗掉他的能力。那些能力會流進河水里。邁達斯國王照做了。從那時起，他失去了這一能力。邁達斯國王決定不再去想財富和富有。他離開了他的國家，去過簡單的生活。他對財富的渴望使他付出了巨大的代價。
