I'm not gonna try to go through them one by one

what I'll do is talk about a few of them

certainly California we can see the big change was southern California

Republican conservative bastion

these are real foreclosure zones

very hard hit by the housing crisis

and a major switch there

I was surprised to see San Diego switching in this direction

again the northern San Joaquin area, San Joaquin County, Stanislaus County, that's Modesto, Merced, shifting

some rural counties like Trinity, very small population

maybe 2000 but they certainly were Republican back in the days when they were predominantly ranching counties as they have been
