Susie: I love summer, don't you, Ben?
蘇西：我喜愛夏天，你不也是嗎，本？
Ben: I loved summer when I was a kid. Because I didn't have to work. I had three months of vacation!

Susie: What did you do?
蘇西：你那時(shí)候都做什么？
Ben: I rode my bike a lot and played with my friends. We also had a lemonade stand.

Susie: Did you do much business?
蘇西：你們有很多生意嗎？
Ben: We did on hot days. But often we drank all the lemonade!

Alex: What are you thinking about, Taylor?

Taylor: Oh, just my summer job when I was a kid.

Alex: You had a summer job?

Taylor: Sure. A lot of kids have summer jobs. I worked at the swimming pool. I was a lifeguard.
泰勒：當(dāng)然。很多孩子都有暑期工作。我在游泳池工作。我當(dāng)時(shí)是一個(gè)救生員。
Alex: Was it fun?
阿萊克斯：有意思嗎？
Taylor: Yes. I got a nice suntan. I watched kids play in the water and kept them safe.

Linda: Did you enjoy summer when you were a kid, Rob?
琳達(dá)：羅布，你小時(shí)候喜歡夏天嗎？
Rob: Well, some summers I could relax. Other summers I had to study.
羅布：嗯，有一些夏天我能放松一下。其它的夏天我必須要學(xué)習(xí)。
Linda: For school entrance exams?
琳達(dá)：為了入學(xué)考試嗎？
Rob: For the high school one. My family moved to the States before I had to take the college one.
羅布：是為了高中入學(xué)考試。我們家在我必須考入大學(xué)之前就搬到美國(guó)來(lái)了。
Linda: I didn't study in the summer. I went to summer camp and loved it!
琳達(dá)：我在夏天的時(shí)候不會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)。我會(huì)去夏令營(yíng)，我很喜歡夏令營(yíng)！
Rob: You were lucky!
羅布：你真幸運(yùn)！
