Phoebe: Oh hey Ross, oh, so glad someone's here. Could you zip me up?
菲比：哦，嘿，羅斯，哦，還好你在。你能幫我把拉鏈拉上嗎？
Ross: Sure.
羅斯：當然。
Phoebe: Thank you. Can you believe no one between my apartment and here offered to do that for me?
菲比：謝謝。你相信嗎，從我家到這里，一路上居然沒有一個人主動幫我把拉鏈拉上！
Ross: People. So why you so dressed up?
羅斯：什么世道。那你為什么穿得這么隆重呢？
Phoebe: Oh umm. Mike's picking me up for a date.
菲比：哦，邁克一會兒要接我去約會。
Ross: Oh yeah? Now, how's that going, is it getting serious?
羅斯：哦，是嗎？現在進展得怎么樣，已經變得認真起來了嗎？
Phoebe: Oh I dunno, I dunno, I mean you know, I like him but you know, am I ready to take my grade-A loins off the meat market? I'm not quite sure.
菲比：哦，不知道啊，不知道，我的意思是，我喜歡他，但是難道我現在就要對外宣布“此甲級小腰肉撤市禁售”？我還不能確定。
Ross: You know, I really admire your whole dating attitude; it's so healthy. I'm always like, is this moving too fast? Is this moving too slow? Where's this going?
羅斯：你知道嗎，我真的很欣賞你的約會態度，如此健康。而我總是這樣：是不是進展得太快了？是不是進展得太慢了？關系進展到什么程度了？
Phoebe: Yeah, you know, you are a bit of a drama queen.
菲比：是啊，沒錯，你有點像戲劇女王。
Ross: But you, you're so much better off, you know. You just go from guy to guy having fun and not worrying that it'd never turns into anything serious.
羅斯：你就比我好多了，你知道嗎。你只是不停地從一個男人換到另一個男人，從中尋找樂趣，而且從來不用擔心是不是會變成認真的感情。
Phoebe: I wouldn't say never, you know. There's that guy... OK, well, what about...OK, well, there's gotta be someone.
