Jingjing: So, what do you have planned for the day?
京晶：你今天有什么計劃？
Mark: I think I'm gonna hit the stores.
馬克：我想去商店。
Jingjing: Are you freaking out about your summer shopping? Chill, you still have several weeks left.
京晶：你是在擔心你的夏日大采購吧？放心，你還有幾個星期呢。
Mark: Well, actually, I need to buy loads of short sleeve shirts. It's not chilly any longer in Beijing.
馬克：其實，我是打算買一批短袖襯衣，北京這天氣已經不冷了。
Jingjing: So, you mean, you're not going to buy anyone gifts? I've done some shopping for people's birthdays and whatnot.
京晶：所以你的意思是，你就不買些禮物了？我已經開始給別人的生日等諸如此類的事采購禮物了。
Mark: Don't put words into my mouth. I'm a generous guy, when I see something I think someone's gonna like. But it's gonna be sweltering in a few weeks, and I need clothes.
馬克：不要臆斷哦，我可從來沒有說過這樣的話。我是個很大方的人，我看到一些東西覺得別人可能喜歡我就會買。再過幾周可就酷熱難當了，再說我也需要一些衣服。
Jingjing: Anyways, I'll see you after you come back from shopping. Let's get an icy drink next, okay?

Jingjing: So, how'd it go, Mark?
京晶：（采購進行得）怎么樣了，馬克？
Mark: It went really well. I found some good deals on shirts, and didn't buy too many. I had the tailor take some of my long-sleeve shirts and turn them into short-sleeve shirts.
馬克：不錯哦。買了一些還不錯的襯衫，也沒買太多。我讓裁縫拿了些我的長袖襯衫把它們改成短袖的了。
Jingjing: Do they look okay?
京晶：那看著還行嗎？
Mark: Yeah! It's a good way to extend the life of my clothes. I had a Kodak moment trying the stuff on, and posted the photos on WeChat.
馬克：不錯呢。這是一個延長衣服使用壽命的好方法。我都拍了穿著這些衣服的樣子，還把照片發在朋友圈了呢。
Jingjing: You show-off! Well, you'll have something more to show off. I got you a present.
京晶：你這個炫耀狂！對了，你還有得吹，我這兒有一個小禮物給你。
Mark: Wow, I love presents, especially when it's not a holiday! Can I open it?
馬克：哇，我喜歡收禮物，尤其不在節假日的時候，我可以打開嗎？
Jingjing: Go for it.
京晶：當然。
Mark: You're so sweet! I always wanted a pair of earphones. Here, I almost forgot. I have a gift for you, too.

Jingjing: I thought you weren't going to buy anyone presents! You're a great guy after all.

Mark: You know what? I bought it last week when I said I was gonna buy loads of summer shirts. I was actually buying this as well. Hope you like it, sis.

Jingjing: Ohh! A new watch. I love it. I'll wear it all summer!

Mark: You're wearing the watch I gave you.
馬克：你戴著我給你買的那塊表
Jingjing: Oh, yeah, that too. Check out my new shades.
京晶：哦，那個也戴了。瞧我的新太陽鏡怎么樣？
Mark: Hey, those are pretty cool sunglasses. Did you just get them?
馬克：嘿，還真是挺酷的太陽鏡呢。剛買的嗎？
Jingjing: Naw, I found them. I did some spring cleaning and dug them out of a drawer. I thought I'd lost them.

Mark: They look like they cost a pretty penny.

Jingjing: Yup, they're not cheapies. All I had to do was get them fixed up a little.

Mark: They look good as new. Way to accessorize for the summer, sis!
