Ivanka Trump made a name for herself selling clothing, shoes, accessories, and kids' products aimed at working moms. But ever since her father's campaign, and the statements he has made about women, there has been a movement to boycott not just her products, but stores that sell them.
On Thursday, Nordstrom confirmed it was no longer selling her line "based on the brand's performance." Ivanka responded to the boycott, saying, "My advocacy of women, trying to empower them in all aspects of their life, started long before this presidential campaign did. I've never politicized that message. People who are seeking to politicize it because they disagree with the politics of my father — there's nothing I can do to change that."
