Lightning and floods can be dangerous.

But if you prepare for a storm, you can be safe.

I report the weather forecast on TV.

Wayne, there were a lot of storms lately.

You're right, Rob. In fact, we're getting another big storm tomorrow night!

Well, small storms are no problem.

But big ones can be very dangerous.

Sometimes lightning hits buildings and starts fires.

What about rain and wind?

Floods can also damage buildings.
洪水也有可能破壞建筑物，
And strong winds can blow down trees onto houses and roads.
強風則可能把樹木吹倒在房屋與道路上。
Wow! Strong storms do sound serious.
哇！強烈暴風雨聽起來確實很嚴重。
But if you prepare, you can prevent many accidents.
可是你如果有做好準備，就可以避免許多意外。
