The Lost Wallet
遺失的皮夾
Allison was looking for a snack in the store.
愛莉森在店里找著點(diǎn)心，
She didn't want to spend a lot of money, but she was very hungry.
她不想花太多錢，可是肚子又非常餓。
She saw some chips and some candy.
她看到了一些洋芋片和一些糖果。
Then she saw a wallet!
接著，她看見一個(gè)皮夾！
The wallet was lying on the floor!
那個(gè)皮夾就掉在地上！
Someone dropped it there, then left the store without it.
有人把皮夾掉在那里，就這么離開了這家店。
Now the wallet was lost!
現(xiàn)在，那個(gè)皮夾成了遺失物！
What should Allison do with it?
愛莉森該拿它怎么辦？
Allison picked up the wallet and looked inside.
愛莉森把皮夾撿起來，看了看里面。
The wallet was full of money!
皮夾里裝滿了錢！
The wallet's owner would need the money back.
這個(gè)皮夾的主人一定會需要找回這些錢。
But who was the owner?
可是皮夾的主人是誰呢？
Allison looked in the wallet again and found an ID.
愛莉森又檢查了一次皮夾，在里面找到了一張身分證件。
The ID said Steven Thompson.
身分證件上的姓名是史蒂芬．湯普森。
But now Allison had a new problem.
可是現(xiàn)在愛莉森又有了個(gè)新問題，
How would she return the wallet to him?
她該如何把皮夾還給他？
The ID card had an address on it.
身分證上有個(gè)地址，
Allison could take the wallet there, but that might not be easy.
愛莉森可以把皮夾拿去那里，可是這點(diǎn)恐怕不容易做到；
Allison could take the wallet to the police.
她可以把皮夾交給警察，
They could contact the owner.
他們能夠聯(lián)絡(luò)失主；
Allison looked at the cashier.
愛莉森看著出納員，
Maybe she should give the wallet to him.
也許她該把皮夾交給他，
Maybe Steven Thompson would come back for it.
說不定史蒂芬．湯普森先生會回來拿。
