歡迎來到SIT2LRN強化英語認證系列課程
In this lesson, we will be focusing on
這節課我們重點學習初級課程
elementary level modules 1 to 5
第1單元至第5單元的內容
First on the agenda, we will be working with the verb 'be'
首先,我們來看一下"be"動詞
The forms of 'be' are positive, negative and question forms "be"
的形式可分為肯定式,否定式和疑問式
While we know that verbs are doing words
我們知道動詞是表示動作的詞
there are also verbs that are being words
但也有表示狀態的動詞
These are 'am, 'is' and 'are'
即"am" "is"和"are"
'I am tired', 'she is sick today' "
我累了" ",她今天生病了"
'they are old friends' "
他們是老朋友"
We can also shorten words by using an apostrophe
我們也可以用撇號進行縮寫
Apostrophes' signal to us
撇號表示
that one or more letters have been left out of the word
單詞中省略了一個或多個字母
'I'm tired', 'she's sick today' "
我累了" ",她今天生病了"
'they're old friends' "
他們是老朋友"
The examples on screen are positive
屏幕上的例子是肯定式的
We form negatives by placing not after the verb
我們通過在動詞后面加not構成否定式
'I am not tired' "
我不累"
'she is not sick today' "
她今天沒生病"
'they are not old friends' "
他們不是老朋友"
We can use the shortened form with negatives as well
我們也可以使用否定式的縮寫形式
'I'm not tired'
比如 "我不累"
'she's not sick today' "
她今天沒生病"
'they're not old friends' "
他們不是老朋友"
To form questions we place the verb
可將動詞提到句子主語前面
before the subject of the sentence
構成疑問句
'Am I tired?' "
我累了嗎?"
'Is she sick today?' "
她今天生病了嗎?"
'Are they old friends?' "
他們是老朋友嗎?"
To help you to be to understand to how to use the verb 'be'
為了幫助大家理解如何使用"be"動詞
we will watch a scene
我們將觀看一個來自現實生活中的情景
from the real world with its inclusion
以及它包含的內容
As you will soon learn
大家很快會發現
dialogues such as the one we are about to play
播放這種對話
will be a regular feature of the show

Let's meet our first set of characters now
現在讓我們認識第一組人物

'He's sick today' "
他今天生病了"
'He is not sick' "
他沒有生病"
'They're not being very nice to me' "
他們對我很不友好"
You've seen the dialogue with subtitles
剛才看到的是有字幕的對話
Now we will replay it without them
現在重播一遍沒有字幕的對話
As you will soon find out
同樣你將很快發現
this will be common practice throughout the series
這將是整個系列課程的習慣做法
Now we will learn how
現在我們將學習如何使用
and when to use the articles 'a' and 'an'
以及何時使用冠詞"a"和"an"
We use 'an' before a word that begins with a vowel
我們在以元音字母開頭的單詞之前使用"an"
'A', 'E', 'I' ,'O' or 'U'
即以"A" "E" "I" "O"或"U"開頭的
'An apple', 'an emergency' "
一個蘋果" ",一個緊急事件"
'an unusual circumstance' "
一個異常情況"
We use 'a' before a word that begins with a consonant
我們在以輔音字母開頭的單詞之前使用"a"
Consonants are everything else that's not a vowel
輔音字母是除元音字母以外的所有字母
'A book', 'a good movie' "
一本書" ",一部好電影"
'a tomato' "
一個西紅柿"
