Dialogue:
Ah! I’m so down.My bestie lied to me yesterday!
Really? A good friend wouldactually lie to you? Something must’ve compelled her to,right?
I was gonna go chitchat with her yesterday, but she rejected me, saying she was working over time. But in reality she was busy on a date.
Haha. That’s forgivable. After all, her boyfriend is more important. And who knows? Maybe her parentsset it up and she had no other choice.
Good point. But Istill really hate being lied to by other people.
Me too. Do you remember when we were little we would ask our parents where we came from? Ourmoms and dads would always lie to us: “Oh, we picked you up out of a garbagecan!” or “You fell from heaven”, and there’s an even more outrageous one,“It was a gift from topping up your phone card!”
Haha, that’shilarious. I guess we grew up hearing lies!
Actually, after we grow up, we still often subconsciously tell lies.
The most commonexample is: for example, sometimes when you’re really ticked off butyou don’t want to explode, you just lie and say “I’m fine”.
And also, whenI’ve obviously gotten a lot fatter, my coworkers all say I got thinner. Itmakes me so confused.
Haha. That’s a whitelie, right? Sometimes we tell lies on purpose. For exampledoctors sometimes conceal serious diseases from their patients, allowing themto relieve a little stress and positively heal it. There’s nothing wrong withthese kinds of white lies.
So, there’s goodand bad lies. Grasping when to lie is the key. The most important thing is to not everintentionally hurt someone else.
