I Hope Your Bread Gets Better 我希望你的面包病好了

I was making rolls and, needing a warm place for the dough to rise.

我在做面包，需要把面團放在一個暖和點的地方使它發起來。

put the bowl in a heating pad. Then I left the house on an errand.

When I came back, I found this note from my son: "Dear Mom, I hope your bread gets better."

1.making rolls

在這里表示做面包，roll我們可以理解為卷著的面團，要用來發酵然后做成面包的。

dough就表示生面團，即還未發酵的面團。在美國的俚語里面也可以表示錢的意思。

eg：How much dough you guys got to put in?

你們可以提供多少錢？

2.heating pad

heating pad 表示取暖電毯，在溫暖的環境發酵會更快。

errand：n.差使；差事；使命

eg：This is a formidable errand for me.

這對我來說是個太艱巨的任務.

3.gets better

gets better表示變得越好越好，有一個漸變的過程。
