狗也知道嗎 Does The Dog Know The Proverb

The little boy did not like the look of the barking dog.
一個小男孩非常不喜歡狗狂叫的樣子。
"It's all right," said a gentleman, "don't be afraid. Don't you know the proverb: Barking dogs don't bite?"
“沒有關(guān)系，”一位先生說，“不用害怕，你知道這條諺語嗎：‘吠狗不咬人。’”
"Ah, yes," answered the little boy. "I know the proverb, but does the dog know the proverb, too?"
“啊，我是知道，可是狗也知道嗎？”

1.Don't you know
do you know 就是一般疑問句，意思是“你知道。。。嗎？”，表示單純的疑問。
而don't you know是反問句，意思是“難道你不知道。。。嗎？”表達的是肯定的意思，用反問的方式加以強調(diào)。
例句：
Do you know that she is coming next week?
你知道她下周要來的事情嗎？（不確定她下周來不來）
Don't you know that she is coming next week?
你難道不知道她下周要來？（她下周來是確定了的。）
