A Trip to Disney 迪斯尼之族

On a trip to Disney World in Florida, my husband and I and our two children devoted ourselves wholeheartedly to the wonders of this attraction. After three exhausting days, we headed for home.

As we drove away, our son waved and said, "Good-bye, Mickey."

Our daughter waved and said, "Good-bye, Minnie."

My husband waved, rather weakly, and said, "Good-bye, Money.

1.a trip to
a trip to someplace是指到某地的一次旅行，關(guān)于旅行有很多種說(shuō)法：
travel只表示一般意義的泛指的旅行,即一般的旅行活動(dòng),例如Travel is much cheaper than it used to be；
journey或trip表示從某地到另一地方的一次具體旅行；
其中，journey更多的帶有＂行路，旅程＂的意味，即不一定是游玩活動(dòng)，更多的是對(duì)具體情況的陳述；
而trip更多的帶有＂游玩＂的意味，同時(shí)一般是短途的（沒(méi)有tour＂游玩＂的意味強(qiáng)，tour是＂參觀，游覽＂）；
voyage的話，指＂海上航程＂，通常不會(huì)混淆。

2.wholeheartedly
adv.全心全意地，全神貫注地；一心；竭誠(chéng)；真心誠(chéng)意
eg：I just want to do this project wholeheartedly. 我只想一心一意把這個(gè)項(xiàng)目做好。

3.exhausting
exhausted/exhausting
前者是疲憊不堪的、用完的耗盡的。I am exhausted!
后者是使人疲憊不堪的,令人精疲力盡的,是外物使人感到疲憊,例如I find her exhausting-she never stop talking.我發(fā)現(xiàn)她真累人－她總不停的說(shuō)話。
