Lesson Six: “惹怒”地道美語怎么說？

【課前熱身】

Firs of all, let's have a review. 您還記得在第5課中我們學到的與“not to disturb”"not to annoy" 同義的地道美語口頭表達嗎？它是：get out of one's hair “不要妨礙”，“不要打攪”“不要打擾”，get somebody out of one's hair “使某人不要妨礙，打攪，打擾某人”And this morning I still want to put an emphasize that it cannot used in Business English.

【本期課堂講說】

現在我們開始第6課的學習。Lesson Six: How to say "惹怒（某人）" in American English. 第6課：惹怒（某人）， 美語怎么說？

【基礎篇】

We might as well listen to the following sentence: If you get in someone's hair from time to time, he must shout at you, "Get out of my hair, which is beginning to getting in my hair ". 如果您不停地打攪某人，這個人一定向您吼道：“不要打攪我， 你已經開始惹我生氣了”。（At this moment, you'd better keep your mouth shut.）在這個句子中，用了一個含有hair, h-a-i-r（頭發）這個單詞的一個短語來表示“惹怒（某人）” “激怒（某人）”。 它是：get in one's hair. It means "make somebody slightly angry." 我們可以想象有事沒事去弄別人的頭發，別人當然會煩了，當然就會angry了。

Let's look at two more sentences to get a grasp of it. 1 His constant joking was beginning to get in her hair. 他不停地跟她開玩笑，已經惹她生氣了。2 It gets my hair to see him getting ahead of me. 我看到他領先于我，心理就不痛快。(備注：get ahead of 意為：勝過，超過。For example: The car behind wants to get ahead of us.后面那輛車想超過我們。I have to get ahead of my competitors.我得超過其他的競爭者。)

【進階篇】

Get in one's hair 意思是：惹怒了某人。Here I would like to ask you a question: Why does he get angry? It's no doubt that you've disturbed him. So, get in one's hair 還是get out of one's hair的反義詞，還有"cause somebody trouble"的意思。Let's look at the following sentences to get a grasp of it. 1 The flies are getting in my hair. 這些蒼蠅真叫我心煩。2 It got in her hair to hear that she would not be able to catch the train. 獲悉不能趕上這趟火車了，她真煩惱。
