Jason: I printed up your Chinese astrology chart.
Beth: But I already know that I'm a rat and all that.
Jason: This is much more detailed. It's called the Purple Star or Purple King System.
Beth: Great! Maybe it can tell me if I have a future with Tim.
Jason: OK, but first, take a look at this mingpan to see how the system works.
Beth: It looks like it's all divided into "zones".
Jason: Exactly. There are twelve "sectors" or "zones" with planets that influence each stage of your life.
Beth: Are these the same planets like Mercury and Jupiter and all them?
Jason: Yes, but, uhh...some of the constellations don't exist anymore.

Beth: Maybe I should marry rich then?
Jason: Your marriage zone has a strange sign, too. "The Entertainer".
Beth: So Tim might become a pop star?
Jason: Maybe. Or a gambler. He likes to play poker, doesn't he?
Beth: Oh, no. I want a second opinion.
Jason: This system is ancient and accurate, but I'm no expert. Maybe you should find one.
Beth: I think I'll try Western astrology, first.

Beth: It says that my Venus is in Pisces, so I'm a very romantic person.
Jason: Well, you do like romantic music. Does it say anything different than the Chinese one?
Beth: It says I'm not scholarly because my Mercury is in Gemini.
Jason: But that's totally different than the Chinese one.
Beth: Well, they can't both be right, can they?
Jason: Maybe you should look at an Indian Vedic chart.
Beth: No, that would just confuse me more.

Beth: Alright, maybe I shouldn't be dating Tim then.
Jason: Because you don't want to end up with a gambler? I'm not a gambler. (Smiles)
Beth: Are you telling me the stars are telling us to be together?
Jason: My Venus is in Pisces, and I've always wanted to be a pop start. I think it's fate.
