What the Flag Says
國旗說
When flags are flying in wind and sun,
當國旗站在太陽下迎風飄揚時，
We think of the days gone by,
我們想到了過去的日子，
When men like Lincoln and Washington were children as you and I.
那時林肯、華盛頓之類的偉人都是你我這樣的孩童。
The flag is flying, and seems to say,
國旗飄揚，好像在說
"I'm happy, because I know that children are true and brave today as children of long ago."
“我很高興，因為我知道現(xiàn)在的孩子如同之前的孩子一樣真誠勇敢。”
