第94課
A little girl went in search of flowers for her mother.
一個小女孩為她的媽媽去采花。
It was early in the day, and the grass was wet.
這天清晨，草地還很濕。
Sweet little birds were singing all around her.
漂亮的小鳥在她周圍歌唱。
And what do you think she found besides flowers?
你認為她在發(fā)現(xiàn)花朵之外還找到了什么？
A nest with young birds in it.
是個鳥窩，里面有許多剛出生的小鳥。
While she was looking at them, she heard the mother bird chirp, as if she said, “Do not touch my children, little girl, for I love them dearly.”
當她看著它們時，她聽到鳥媽媽唧唧地在叫，好像在說：“小姑娘，不要碰我的孩子，我深深愛它們。”
The little girl now thought how dearly her own mother loved her.
小女孩此刻想起了自己的媽媽有多么愛她。
So she left the birds.
她離開了那些鳥。
Then picking some flowers, she went home, and told her mother what she had seen and heard.
然后采了一些花。回到家后，她把所聞所見都告訴了媽媽。
