第83課
“Here, Ponto! Here, Ponto!” Kate called to her dog.
“這兒，龐托！這兒，龐托！”凱特叫她的狗。
“Come, and get the dolls out of the pond.”
“過來，把娃娃從池塘里撈上來！”
Rose went under, but she did not drown.
羅斯沉到下面去了，但它沒有淹死。
Bess was still on the top of the water.
貝絲仍然漂在水面上。
Ponto came with a bound, and jumped into the pond.
龐托跳過來，一頭扎進池塘里。
He swam around, and got Bess in his mouth, and brought her to the shore.

Ponto then found Rose, and brought her out, too.
然后，龐托又找到羅斯，把它也救了上來。
Kate said, “Good, old Ponto! Brave old dog!”
