One day a mouse was looking for something to eat.
一天，一個老鼠正尋找一些吃的東西。
Suddenly he ran into a lion.
突然他撞上一頭獅子。
The lion caught the mouse.
獅子抓住了老鼠。
He looked at the mouse and said, "You're too small for a meal."
他看著老鼠說，“作為一餐來說你太小了。”
"Please let me go, Mr Lion," said the mouse.
“請讓我走，獅子先生，”老鼠說。
"One day I will help you."
“某一天我將幫助你。”
The lion laughed.
獅子笑了。
"How can a little thing like you help the great king of animals?" he said.
“像你這樣的小東西怎么可能幫助偉大的動物之王呢？”他說。
"OK, I will let you go."
“好的，我將讓你走。”
"Thank you very much," the mouse said.
“非常感謝你，”老鼠說。
"That's very good of you."
“你真是個大好人。”
The next week the mouse was again looking for something to eat.
第二個星期，老鼠又出來尋找一些吃的東西。
He saw the lion under a tree.
他見到一頭獅子在一棵樹下。
The lion was in a net and could not get out.
獅子困在一張網(wǎng)里出不來。
The mouse went up to him.
老鼠向他走過去。
"Don't worry, Mr Lion. I will help you," said the mouse.
“不要擔(dān)心，獅子先生，我將幫助你，”老鼠說。
Then he began to bite the net.
然后他開始咬那張網(wǎng)。
Soon he made a big hole in the net.
很快他在網(wǎng)上咬了個大洞。
At last the lion got out of the net.
最后獅子從網(wǎng)中出來了。
He was very happy.
他非常高興。
"Thank you," he said.
“謝謝你，”他說。
"Thank you so much!"
“非常感謝你！”
The small can help the great.
小人物是可以幫助大人物的。
