【詞義辨析】
normal, ordinary, regular, natural, typical,
normal: 指不超過某種限度、符合某種標準或常規(guī)。
ordinary: 強調(diào)一般性和普通性，含不突出的意味。
regular: 指按已有模式的、有規(guī)律或定期的。
natural: 側(cè)重某人或某物的行為符合其固有特性。
typical: 指個體能體現(xiàn)出群體的特征。
【例句用法】
1.I really don't know what kind of man he really is; on one occasion, he is normal, and on another, he acts like a lunatic.

二.prepare：v. 預(yù)備，準備
【詞語用法】
prepare后可接雙賓語。
His wife is preparing him a meal.
他老婆正在給他準備一頓飯。
prepare to do表示“因要……而作準備”，prepared to do表示“原意且有能力做什么”。
I am preparing to undertake the task.
我正為要擔(dān)任這個工作作準備。
I am prepared to undertake the task.
我愿意且能夠擔(dān)任這工作。
同will not和cannot相比，be not prepared to的語氣要來的更加婉轉(zhuǎn)，常出現(xiàn)在公文中；
prepared后可接that從句，從句里用should。
I am prepared that my son should have a tutor.
【錯句舉例與錯句分析】
錯句：I was busy, preparing my examination.
糾正：I was busy, preparing for my examination.
翻譯：我忙于準備我的考試。
分析：prepare one's lesson可表示“預(yù)備功課”，但是“準備考試”只能在prepare后加介詞for表示“為……作準備。”

【詞義辨析】
contain, include, embrace, involve, comprehend, hold, comprise,
contain: 普通用詞，所涉及的物體常常是其組成部分或內(nèi)容。強調(diào)包容關(guān)系。既可指具體有形的東西，也可指抽象無形的東西。
include: 普通用詞，指一整體包含著各獨立的部分，也指某東西包含另一東西的某一部分。
embrace: 正式用詞，指把某事物納入整個之中。
involve: 指包含因整體的性質(zhì)決定的成分或結(jié)果。所包括的往往是無形的，不可觸知的東西，多用作引申。
comprehend: 正式用詞，指包含在整體范圍以內(nèi)。
hold: 常和contain換用。指能夠容納或有足夠的容納量。強調(diào)包容能力。
comprise: 書面用詞，暗指一個整體包括不同部分所組成，可與include交換使用。
