Allergic：過敏的，REX居然會對洋蔥過敏，其實也不奇怪，外國人對東西的過敏都和特殊，有的人對水果過敏，有的對蔬菜過敏，看來外國人雖然飲食方面都比我們講究，不吃油膩的東西，但他們要是病起來，什么亂七八糟的病都會有。

Cuisine：原意為廚房烹調(diào)法, 烹飪, 烹調(diào)風(fēng)格，這里解釋為大餐。ANDREW抱怨BREE每天都象在做大餐一樣，一頓飯要做3個小時，可憐的BREE家人都不贊美她做的菜。

Damn：絕對常用的一個次，想是我們國人說的TMD。某事讓你特別氣憤或惱怒的時候，可以就用這個次來表示。很口語化的一個詞。
Bizarre：奇異的(指態(tài)度,容貌,款式等)，BREE的發(fā)型真的是一絲不茍，沒見她披頭散發(fā)的樣子。
Be sick of :討厭，厭倦做某事 fell in love:墜入愛河，愛上某人

Get through:這里解釋為可以度過難關(guān)的

Phoenix：鳳凰 ashes:灰 這句話意思是遇火重生，其實是形容SUSAN的心情，原本以為和EDIE 約會的男人是MIKE，聽說他傷得不清住院了，沒想到MIKE在這個時候出現(xiàn)在SUSAN面前。讓她一下子又重生了，呵呵，讓我想到了“圣斗士星士”中的一輝。

have a toast：舉杯，干杯，不過之前，人們總會先說些什么，在人多的場面，人們會輕輕敲打杯面，發(fā)出叮叮擋擋的響聲來吸引人們的注意，然后說些客套話，接著每個人會舉起杯子說到：“TO 某某某”。

Private.私人的，秘密的 what's the big deal?：沒什么大不了啊？ 或者可以說：It’s not a big deal.很常用的一句口語，日常生活中一直會用到。
