Errand：差事, 差使，任務(wù)等，這里的run可以理解為執(zhí)行，去完成 spend：常用詞,花時(shí)間做某事，或者是花錢(qián)，常用詞組是：spend some time (on)doing sth/spend money on sth

2. Mary Alice Voiceover:"But her afternoons, well, they were spent in the company of men."

Company不是公司的意思，而是陪同，陪伴

3. Maisy: "Anyway, a couple of months later, I started my little hobby...and the most wonderful thing happened. This woman's husband became one of my regulars."

Regular: 規(guī)則的, 有秩序的, 經(jīng)常的,這里是常客的意思。沒(méi)有想到居然會(huì)是REX，不過(guò)自仔細(xì)想想還是有可能的，記得BREE說(shuō)過(guò)一句話“We haven't had sex for months, Rex. Most normal, red-blooded men would be climbing the walls by now."原來(lái)REX是到MAISY那里去發(fā)泄了，男人真的是先有性再有愛(ài)的么？呵呵，好象這個(gè)問(wèn)題不適合在這里討論。

4. Judge Sullivan: "Bring me the passport, and Mr. Solis can visit his mother. Until then, your client is denied bail and remanded. What's next?"

bail：保證金, 保證人，大家都知道在國(guó)外有保釋，付了一定數(shù)量錢(qián)就可以帶嫌疑犯走，但會(huì)受到警察的嚴(yán)格監(jiān)視，而且不準(zhǔn)出國(guó)，所以法官會(huì)叫嫌疑犯交出passport（護(hù)照）denied bail：就是拒絕保釋的意思。Remand：送還, 還押

5. Lynette: "You better finish those brussel sprouts. And don't think I can't see them hidden under your macaroni."

brussel sprouts：一種蔬菜吧，我在網(wǎng)上查了下，國(guó)內(nèi)好象沒(méi)有的。Lynette說(shuō)吃這個(gè)可以長(zhǎng)高，怪不得，外國(guó)人看上去比亞洲人高，飲食習(xí)慣不同吧。Don’t think I can’t…..雙重否定表肯定，呵呵，寫(xiě)作文時(shí)要用，可以讓文章有閃光點(diǎn)，以前上寫(xiě)作課，老師常說(shuō)的一句話。
